Odaiba-kaihinkoen

Odaiba-kaihinkoen (Odaiba Seaside Park) refers to both the stretch of beach behind the DECKS Tokyo Beach and Aqua City shopping centres, and the Yurikamome station by the same name. Taichi and Hikari live in an apartment complex in this area; in Minato-ku Daiba 5-choume. All three locations feature prominently in Digimon, in Adventure as well as 02. Taichi and Hikari live in (when facing the beach, looking from the station) one of three identical buildings with stylized art decorating their courtyards. Daisuke also lives in one of these. The buildings are most recognizable for their balconies; partway up the building the balcony design changes. These apartments are immediately visible after exiting the Rainbow Bridge.

The beach section of Odaiba-kaihinkoen is the setting for Hikari's journey to the Black Ocean in 02, and appears in background shots over the course of the series. The Yurikamome station is also featured; a train arriving at this station is one of the first views of Odaiba seen in the show (as described in the Yurikamome section), and in episode 39 of 02, Zen'in Shutsudō! Imperialdramon, the Chosen Children see Ken off to his home in Tamachi from one of the Odaiba-kaihinkōen Station exits.

Odaiba-kaihinkoen is by far the most frequently-seen area in the show. As such, the images are divided up by their relation to each other.
